Long time since the last post, as usual, but here we are. I am currently having a week off grinding, as I feel a little bit burnt out and tired. Current situation with Coronavirus, lockdown, launch of Aurora on PS (it's shit and we can't multitable as we were = less rake paid = RIP PokerStars), protests in Poland against government as well as PartyPoker leaving Polish market in December and very busy schedule was draining my energy and I needed a break. I am trying to stay healthy both physically and mentally. I started working out daily and running, quit drinking and limited caffeine intake as well. Nothing too crazy, as I feel like a stiff old man, but we are improving day by day. I felt like I needed a change, as I was feeling very tired most days. I also subbed to headspace and started meditation yesterday. I hope I can keep it up and stay more energized during those tough times. Winter is coming as well, which usually means staying even more inside and feeling more and more depressed. I was also thinking about joining a mindset community soon as well as getting a poker coach / joining poker webinars. I am currently researching and looking for options out there.
I am very strongly considering moving to Malta and settling in there, as I really liked the environment and positivity on that island. This needs to wait until Covid is done making damage and locking people in houses. Pokerwise I am not very happy with volume I have put in since the last post as well as time spent on studying my own game. I wish I was more organised so I could combine coaching, playing and studying better. As for now, I am mainly focusing on coaching Standard Backing players and limiting individual coaching. I developed a nice weekly schedule for studying / fitness / playing / coaching. I hope I can stick to all of it and adapt new schedule rather quickly. I will also stop reading news / scrolling IG. This is something I quit a while back but because of recent events and feeling a little bit down, I came back to it. Since my last post I was fortunate to win couple tournaments and make couple buyins, but I am not focusing too much on results, I feel a little bit disappointed with the amount of work I put in last 2 months. It will change if I stick to my new schedule and stay healthy along the way. It's a journey in which all we can do is take baby steps to become better version of ourselves day by day. Peace!
