Hello guys, I felt like it's time for a update, mostly because of recent events. I am proud to announce that after over a year and a half of working with Standard Backing as a coach I got promoted to SNG head coach position. I will be responsible for all things SNG related within the stable and I also got more players. New responsibilities will force me to cut down on the amount of coachings I do weekly. I decided to stick to my hourly and got rid of discounts for now. New position will keep me very busy, so is WCOOP, so I do not have time to coach as much as I was in the past. I am constantly increasing the level of understanding of this game and I am getting tons of coaching experience, both doing 1 on 1 sessions as well as group webinars, hence the price increase. I think it's fair. https://standardbacking.com/our-coaches/english-coaches/wanderer_pro MTT journey was a little bit swingly lately, but it's something that one would expect, so it's all good. (results since last update) I'm happy with my mindset and with the level of play I am currently on. The more you study, the more you know that you know very little. It's been a lot of spots that I don't feel confident with, because MTTs are new to me, however, i strongly believe that I understand those spots better then average player on midstakes. I was very surprised to see how mediocre most players are on midstakes. I will continue to work hard on my game and plug all those leaks. Confidence level is high, I have this mentality of a athlete as well, which definiately helps with dealing with variance. My approach is that you earn money in poker while you study, playing is only an execution. I will make sure to put tons of hours of studying off tables. The future is looking good. I just regret that I didn't move to MTTs earlier in my career. Oh well, we make mistakes and we learn from them. WCOOP is not doing great, I didn't make any day 2s yet, but it's not over yet.
That was my quick update, it's late and I am tired after coaching and grinding. Wish you all best of luck in WCOOP! Stay focused.
